10:30am gathering | 11am procession kick off joined by a Balkan brass band, Novi Hitovi.

Theme: Storm
Think: Hail, lightning, storm clouds, blitz, tornado, tsunami, rainbow, thunder, sleet, fury, blizzard, transformation, typhoon, torrential rain, clamor, monsoon. ⛈️ Calm before the storm – eye of the storm – fire storm – perfect storm – weather the storm – storm brewing – batten down the hatches – wait it out – bring it! Or go in a different direction – Stormy Daniels, Stormin’ Norman from Operation Desert Storm, Storm from X-men.

FlagSSS Day Procession Information
10:30am: Meet behind the State Street Garage by the Hudson River. Come ready to partcipate!
(This procession is taking place during the Farmer’s Market so consider that for parking purposes. Also the Gilded Age is still in town.)

11am: Procession. We will do a 1-mile loop in downtown Troy. We are so honored to be joined by the amazing Balkan brass band, Novi Hitovi. If you want to through in a few bones to get them here, we would super appreciate it. Here is a link to that fundraiser.

Around 12:30pm: We will wrap up with a (short) dance party by the water which is close enough to where we started that you can easily get back.

Workshops:
Come work on a costume or build props for you or others for the June 13th FlagSSS Day Procession. Bring materials, share ours. 

All prep days will be at COLLAR WORKS X CHASHAMA (50 4th Street Troy, NY)
May 31, 1-4 pm – Make your own costumes or participate in visioning Mylar Mania.
June 5, 3-7 pm – Make your own costumes or help silkscreen and make props.
June 12, 3-7 pm – Finish off your look!
